Welcome to the Parksville Residents Association (PRA) Website.

The Parksville Residents Association (PRA) was formed in the Spring of 2010 by a group of residents who were concerned about the direction in which our City is going, and the rapid pace of development facing our community.

In an unprecedented show of community support, our first public meeting on April 8th, 2010 was attended by more than 200 concerned Parksville residents. Since then, we have been contacted by many more citizens who are eager to make their voices heard.

Our goal is to hold our elected officials accountable to the citizens of Parksville who so often get left out of the decision making process; to give them a say in changes that affect them.

We will be a unified voice to influence the decisions of the City Council and ensure that Council's actions demonstrate that the public interest is taken seriously.

We believe it is possible to create a sustainable Parksville for our community and for future generations.
